These unique saxophone holders are made with a stave from an authentic whiskey barrel! We currently make these for alto/tenor saxophones. The hanging hardware is sourced from the manufacturer, String Swing, a very reputable company for hanging instruments, and is also located in Wisconsin! We sand each barrel and stave carefully to bring out the unique grains of the white oak while leaving the black marks where the rings of the barrel were. Two pilot holes make it simple to install and black wooden buttons are included to cover the screws. It is given a matte finish which brings out the grains of the oak and a nice light walnut color. Mounting hardware included. These are made with 1/2 length of a normal whiskey barrel stave, so are roughly 17" tall and can vary between 3-5" wide. For water conservation in your community, we recommend you use our rain barrels to help conserve our natural resources. Our 52 to 60-gallon rain barrels are made of recycled watertight wine barrels. At the rain collection area, a screened opening minimizes insect entry into the barrel while filtering debris from incoming water. An overflow socket, located at the top/back of the barrel, designates the direction of excess water to flow. It can be connected to a hose to divert overflow to a garden or distant runoff area. All colors shown in the pictures vary since each piece is created from used wine barrels and each one we get is different. Each barrel comes with a silicone barrel bung, typically in white, but color can vary. Hoses NOT included. You will receive: One Recycled wine barrel, with a screened rectangle cut from the top. Seriously disappointed. Biggest issue I have is the door doesn't close. The top, bottom and right hand side of the door stick out quite a bit. I wasn't expecting perfection but it looks really bad. Other than that the door has large gaps and sloppy cuts. The hardware seems to have been installed before stain was applied and stain hasn't been applied to all surfaces. I expected more.
