Cactus Cat Scratching Post, Cat Scratcher with Sisal Rope and Interactive Hanging Ball, 19.9 Inch Scratching Post for Indoor Cats and Kitten

This is a cute little scratching post, but I was expecting it to be a bit larger. It is sturdy enough that I don’t believe my cat will be able to knock it over while playing or sharpening her claws. One thing I’m not crazy about is the sisal being on the bottom of the post. It is quite thin and looks like the old school yarn they would give you in an eighth grade Home Ec class. As long as it stays attached and doesn’t fray too quickly I’m OK with it. I like the texture of the cactus, (if you will), and the fact that it’s rubbery and flexible. My cat has already owned it. She walked right up and put her scent all over it. The scratching post came quickly and was delivered at my home, not in its usual place and with a few dents in the box but overall handled professionally. I would recommend this to a friend with a smaller cat as it is a decent value for a cute post that appears not to knock over easily. I had it assembled in 30 seconds lol. Leslie. Quakertown, PA.
