This states that there is a footrest but it does not! The seat is quite high so a short person would have trouble hoisting themselves onto it. I'm sure it's because there is no footrest so you need to sit high for your feet to dangle if used as a transport chair. This is a great shower chair that reclines and has lifting arms for easier transfer from wheelchair or bed. You don't see those features much at this price range! It's pretty comfortable and very maneuverable through tight spaces like hallways and bathrooms. Pretty simple to assemble and would give it 5 stars but the instructions aren't very clear and there's a piece left over that I can't figure out where it goes. Seems to work fine without it but still a little concerning to not have all the parts installed that came with it. Arrived faster than expected. Easy to assemble. Perfect equipment for disabled senior. The chair seat at its' lowest level is still a bit high. Chair slides easily indoors on level surface.
