very nice match but sadly had to return. My cabinet doors have a beveled edge which prevented each piece of the latch from from meeting flush in the middle. Thankfully, returns are always very easy with Wayfair! I no longer have the latch but am posting a photo of the cabinet doors so you can see that evidently, the doors need to meet flushly ( no bevel ) for the latch to work. I used these two latches for my she shed. I need them to lock the gate as I come in and out. They do the job and I like that they are stainless steel for the weather outdoors so they don't tarnish! You'll need to put a string around the top and latch it somewhere so you don't get locked in wherever you put it. The door could close on you and you wouldn't be able to open it.. Lori. It is a surface-mounted latch that is designed for use on 1 in. thick swing-in partition doors, and it comes complete with an "occupied" indicator and a matching stainless steel keeper. The exterior indicator has a dial-type internal mechanism that announces a locked door (or an occupied stall) with red color when the lock is engaged. When the slide lock is in the unlocked position, the dial indicator reveals a green color, or unoccupied state, announcing its availability for use. This is a double-sided safety gravity gate latch for pedestrian gates. It features a latching mechanism with two independent hooks that eliminate jamming. This gravity latch can be easily mounted on metal, vinyl, and wood gates along with being vertically and horizontally adjusted.
