The assembly went well. The color is a darker gray, although it did say taupe. We’re keeping it for the fact that it’s still matches in our room. This chair replaced a loveseat that we didn’t need anymore. It accommodate a taller person with longer legs due to the dimensions of the cushion from knee to hip. it is a little lower to the ground than I anticipated, but it is doable. I really like this chair. It is comfortable and looks nice. The cushion seat and back are comfortable with plenty of room. The legs were a little tricky to put on but if the instructions would have been a little clearer on how to twist them in place (wheel part) it would have gone easier. This chair is honestly so comfortable- I ordered it for our home office and I’m very happy with the comfort level. I did not however realize it’s a big and tall chair- I’m 5’7” so not crazy tall and it’s okay, my feet still touch but it definitely sits up higher.
