The outdoor potting bench is perfect. I bought it mainly to store my bonsai supplies and tools. They were making my bonsai gallery look cluttered. My son put it together so I can't comment on the difficulty in assembly, but it came out beautifully. I love how the feet are adjustable to ensure it's level. Really sturdy and nice quality. As others have mentioned, it’s challenging to put together. The location of the screws are so close to the sides. I recommend getting a small ratchet tool and various hex bits to use instead of what comes in the kit. Also when putting the shelves on, it helps to have a second person line up the holes and hold it in place while you secure the screws. In the end it’s really worth it. My husband put it together in approximately two hours. He said the directions are not great, mostly pictures as others have stated. That being said, this thing is wonderful. Stainless steel top, easy to keep clean and, it is made of resin material so it’s not going to rot. Everything is made with very high-end material. Even the screws! It was a nice piece after getting built which would be alot easier if they would show more detailed instructions. Top or bottom or left or right side of pieces would help a lot. Got it built and seems sturdy enough although there are some imperfections. Mine had dimples in metal top that I cannot hide but not bad enough to repack and ask for another. Decent construction for the price point (I didn't want resin). Arrived extremely well packaged, all parts and hardware labeled. Took about 30-45 for my husband to put together. Once finally complete, it will work very nice for our needs. However, 2 very important issues in the self assembly. Instructions are a little confusing, but we have seen worse. More importantly, the thin film that comes on the pieces is Extremely difficult to remove, and Very time consuming. One part of the instructions states not to nick or scratch the rust protection covering the metal. If this thin plastic is the rust protection referenced, then the top is useless as any hot items put on it would melt this plastic film, and ruin you pan. I’m very happy with this outdoor grill cart. The soft cedar has a wonderful natural smell, and I applied a water seal to help protect the wood and extend its life outdoors. Most of the pieces fit together nicely, and the finished product is sturdy and looks great with the stainless steel top. The only downside is that assembly was a beast, it took quite a bit of time and effort. There were a lot more pieces than we anticipated! Even the dog tried to help. Perfect for next to the flat-top for meal prep and storage. We originally reviewed it disassembled, but were required to write a review with it assembled. So, we put it together, in the snow.
