I purchased this griddle insert for my Weber Spirit II grill over a year ago. I was a little intimidated by the seasoning process, so it sat in my shed for over a year! A couple weeks ago, I finally worked up the courage to take it out of the box. I watched several videos on how to properly season the griddle and I used the Weber seasoning. I received a replacement, pre-seasoned, rust resistant 28” griddle. My original griddle was purchased 3 years ago and rusted very badly. This is really a great little light to have on the grill. It comes in so handy and gives off so much light. First of all, it’s a nice compact size and fits perfectly on the grill handle without being too big and bulky. I was concerned it would be too big and look stupid and be in the way when grilling, but it’s not at all. It also has two different levels of brightness and both are great. It really helps when cooking because it lights everything up so much and it’s easy to see the doneness of the meats especially. It attaches very easily to the handle and you can move it around too so you’re not just able to light up one spot only. So helpful. My husband really likes it and he also uses it for other purposes in general just as a flashlight when needed. It also has a magnet to it that can just attach to most metal surfaces and it’s waterproof so you don’t have to keep moving it when not grilling, you can just leave it on the grill and not worry about it. It comes with a charger and so far it seems to hold a charge for quite a while.
