The chairs from my old set are bulky yet all six fit around this table easily. Only negatives, and not worth subtracting stars for, are tedious assembly and the lack of any protective material on the bottom of the legs. I gave 4 stars mostly for my own fault. the table is pretty narrow. My own bad for not seeing just how narrow it is. Its just wide enough for 2 dinner plates to be across from each other. With 2 people sitting on the ends and 4 people around the table (2 on each side) there is barley enough room for plates and glasses, no extra room for serving platters. Absolutely love this table! Purchased this with the intentions of moving into our newly built home shortly after and ended up rental hopping several times before construction was finally finished. We had to move this table each time from rental to rental (it’s definitely heavy!) and we kept it in its original wood box it came in without opening it. Even thru the 3 different times it was moved it had zero damage when we finally pulled it out of the box. The surface is super smooth and it’s surprisingly not as cold as I thought it would be. My favorite thing about this product is the extention. The extra piece is stored under the table and it pops right out with the push of two small metal buttons one on each side. I had a hard time fitting the feet in the bottom of the table so I set them in the sun for a while and that made them plyable enough to shove into the leg holes they are attached to. I love the navy color I have, definitely not any other blue just a dark navy as shown in the photos on Wayfair.com. The table sits 6 nice sized chairs when open and 4 when shut. This is a durable, elegant, and stylish rectangular outdoor dining table for leisure. Most outdoor furniture fails because they can't handle the real world. Wood rots in the rain. This table was pretty easy to put together, very sturdy. Color was truly navy, not as pictured which is more of a periwinkle, which is fine for me. There is a little ding at one end and the ends of the table were a different color, lighter than the navy, but it's not so bad and would be too much to send back.
