The Garden Society comforter set was inspired by richly patterned vintage tablecloths. In the 1950s, the florals on tablecloths were bold, colorful and designed to be fun. We envision the Garden Club sitting around discussing Betty Sue's award-winning hydrangeas and drinking tea when we see this pattern. This comforter brings rich color and a layered feel to the bedroom. A bold red striped reverse adds timeless feel. Crafted from 100% cotton sateen with a polyester fill, it features a smooth, lightly lustrous finish and cozy loft for everyday comfort.

This romantic, lively print of flowers and birds has been in the archives for so long that its history has been lost to time, but it’s so beloved that Schumacher thought it high time to revive it with new colors. Likely based on an English document, this new version is table printed the old-fashioned way.

Edited review 1/16/26 This is pretty. And well made. I bought it to match the original Hillhouse pattern bedding which I had purchased 25 years ago as the pattern and colors match. The Duvet cover is advertised as being 100% cotton, but the feel of the material is not what I was expecting. Also, there is a Legal tag that shows 100% Polyester. I corresponded with the maker of the item and they indicated that the tag should not have been on the Duvet cover because it is only used for items with a filling to indicate what is in the filling ( think comforter, pillow, mattress). The K on the tag indicates that it is a King size. For clarification, the original Hillhouse fabric was textured and this one is not.. Anonymous. Fri Jan 16 2026

I have bought these curtains in the past few years. I changed them out when I redid my bedroom. Well, after a couple of years, I decided to rehang these curtains but I needed another pair. I saw that they had the same pattern and I ordered a pair. They are beautiful in person. I usually get rid of things I tire of but I loved this blue and white pattern that I kept them. I am so glad I did. I ordered navy comforter to help complete the bedroom.. John. Dunnellon, FL. Mon Oct 12 2026

I love the color of this spread. It’s a little big for our California King bed, but it covers the pillows and down the side. You don’t need a dust cover with it. We like to use our spread for a cover at night, however this one is a little stiff and heavy.. Sharon. Hesperia, CA. Sun Sep 15 2019
