Lovely and nicely crafted but very heavy (80 lbs.) Barclay Butera mirror from his Malibu collection looks lovely hanging in an alcove near our dining table. One cautionary note: Suggest possibility of hiring a professional to hang this one after my husband made several concentrated efforts. Rather than using one 100 lb. hook, he finally wired the mirror through the D rings and hung the wire on three 100 lb. hooks so the weight would be more evenly distributed. By the way, we were concerned about the sheetrock being unable to support the weight of the mirror, so he first placed a 1 x 6 board behind the mirror before applying the hooks. (Better safe than sorry.) A professional might have done it differently, but it was well worth the effort overall. Pleased to have discovered this piece on the Perigold website.. Suzanne. The chest of drawers is very nice looking. It is a heavy piece of furniture, but the drawers arent as sturdy as I thought they should be. I can feel them wobble a bit when opening. It seems that all furniture is like this these days. The bottom drawer has a cedar lining, and the top drawer contains a velvet lining. I am happy with the purchase, but I do wish the drawers were more stable. The delivery of this piece of furniture went well, although another piece was damaged. Birch Lane took care of that situation. I must have been mistaken by thinking the purchase included white glove delivery, but it was only delivered to the room, not unpacked. Gorgeous bed! It is super sturdy and well made. The fabric on the headboard is textured and has a chenille feel. The white glove delivery service had it in the house and put together in approximately 20 minutes (maybe less!), so it must be somewhat easy to assemble.
