This is perfect for my needs, I just wanted something that looked nice but also was functional. The color is a very nice gray and it fits the small space I had. It is hard but not that uncomfortable. I won't know how well it last for a few months, but as of now I am really happy. It took my grandson a little over an hour to put together. This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area. Love the Quaility and modular construction. Very easy to put together. Day 2 of delivery and still see a little sign of compression on back cushions but expect that to decompress with time. The microfiber material seen very good in Quaility. My only minor issue was a few springs on the pull out had fallen out and need to be reinstalled but nothing after that. I would recommend it. This sofa may have been the best purchase of 2026! Our daughter needed a sofafuton for her dorm room and this fit absolutely perfectly under her lofted bed! It came rolled up and compressed in a box which was perfect for transport. It was about 40lbs so on the heavier side. The outside of the box was misleading. There was a drawing of what like looked like a beanbag chair, which had us all worried. Upon arriving at the dorm, we opened the packaging and the sofa expanded. It was “installed” in 5 minutes. No weird off-gassing smells either. Note it takes 72 hours for the sofa to be ready for use. It’s been two weeks and my daughter still reports that the sofa is extremely comfortable and is getting much use. She already has a list of friends ready to come visit!
