This is the best I've found to protect from my hounds. Is it really "non-slip"? Not really, but it holds on better than most under a dog that likes to roll around on my couch. This is the best sofa cover I've bought. It's very soft (feels like cotton, but is easy care polyester), but also thick enough to be waterproof and last for a while. You would never know it's waterproof by looking at it, but I tested it by pouring water on the light side. It pooled and didn't soak through, but it did leave the light side feeling damp. I'm assuming that the fabric is treated with a water-proofing chemical on the dark side?? I bought this to donate to a foster family, and I think it'll save their couch some wear & tear. :) I couldn't photograph it on a couch (I live in a tiny yurt with no couch), but you can see from the photo showing the entire cover laid out on my deck that it's plenty big enough to cover a full size couch. I love these slipcovers! They are much easier to slip over the furniture than the ones I have currently. The color is perfect, and the fit is excellent. Changed the entire look of my living room. Also they come out of the dryer without lots of wrinkles. UPDATE 7/9/2026 - a year later and I STILL love them.
