Set up was fine . Please note that you can just plug into an electrical outlet . You do not need to “hard wire it” as the description says. It is easy. However, the unit has a defect! The fake copper lip that the water falls from is NOT LEVEL ! Therefore the waterfall will never be like the picture in a nice V fall. This fountain is easy to assemble, producing a soft bubbling sound that cannot be heard at a distance, and little to minimal splash.

This arrived yesterday. It came direct from the manufacturer in a large heavy duty cardboard box with an incredible amount of heavy paper packing material. The fountain is the large model and is exactly as described dimensions wise. Was easy to assemble although I had a nozzle type piece with no idea what to do with. Anyhow it works just like the picture with about a 2-3” high flow with the pump on high. The pump is very quiet and the water flow makes minimal noise. The pump has a swing vane on the inlet to control flow. The power cord is about 14 feet long. I bought it to attract hummingbirds but no luck yet. Very happy with this fountain and recommend it.. This turned out beautifully but was not easy to assemble. The directions were terrible and feel incomplete. My husband had to spend a whole day and hire a handyman to help him install it. There are some videos online from Aquascape that helped but those were not easy to find either. Make sure you have two people and a lot of patience.
