I have this rain barrel in both the 80 gallon (1) and the 50 gallon (2) size, and I really like the simple aesthetic. The dark gray color matches my siding almost perfectly, helping these hide visually, since two are in the front of my house. The 80 gallon has better water pressure, nice if you’re filling watering cans and don’t want each fill to take forever. But the plastic spigot that came with it is cheap and hard to maneuver (but I keep forgetting to replace it when the barrel is empty). The 50 gallon ones come with two metal spigots each, which are far nicer to turn off and on. But the water doesn’t come out as fast, for whatever reason. We have all of them up on blocks to aid with water pressure and fitting a bucket underneath. Overall, great product, and they’ve kept my garden alive through multiple summer drought periods!. Works excellent! Built it with a solar pump kit (SKU: W120104564 sold by Wayfair) and fountain runs 24/7 and only turns off when water gets low and the pump safety valve turns it off so it doesn’t burn out the motor. When screwing the fountain pieces together let the pieces find their groove on the threads so the fountain stays level and is not lopsided once all together. If converting to solar you will need to pop out the rubber gasket that is in the middle of the bottom tier of the fountain. Split the rubber gasket at the seam and remove the electrical cord for the included pump and replace it with the cord for the solar pump. Use GE 100% Silicone sealant to fill any gaps/ spaces in the center of rubber gasket/ plug, reseal the seam with silicone and spread silicone around the outer edge of the plug/ gasket and put it back in the base, let set for 24 hours before adding water.
