Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. The attainable excellence that giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. The result is wide acceptance of giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished artwork.

One of many paintings that Van Gogh made of the countryside surrounding Arles. The Impressionist movement was waning and transitioning to Modernism. Fitting in neither, Vincent traveled to the countryside to be immersed in nature and desired to trailblaze a painting movement, but the art world did not follow him there. It was during this time that his soulful swirling colors and thickly laid brush strokes became a signature of his now beloved art style.

The colors were perfect for my bedroom wall! I love Van Gogh artwork! Classy yet subtle! And the price is right!. Kathryn. Whitman, MA. Tue Oct 13 2026

The canvas is beautiful. Unfortunately only 2 sides of the print were attached to the frame. I had to glue the other sides down. Also there is no way to properly hang the picture. The company says to just put a nail in the wall and hang it on that. With children and pets running through the house I would be afraid it would fall off the wall and it wouldn't hang straight. I added picture wire so it would be hung correctly.. Kathy. North Potomac, MD. Sat Jun 13 2026
