It was a little bit intimidating when two huge boxes showed up on my doorstep, but it turned out to be pretty easy to assemble and can be easily done by one person. It was easy to assemble with 2 people. You almost need 2 people once is starts to be mostly together. That pressed wood can be heavy. It has that cheap backing but it all fit together well. We were able to adjust the doors so they closed nicely and then to get the seam between the doors to be small and straight. It took almost 2 hours. Third one of these that I have purchased. I found them easy to assemble, and they have a sturdy structure - love that they are solid wood (except for the backing). Have stained all with Minwax wood finish oil-based ‘Colonial Maple’ Semi-transparent interior stain. They look great ! Though the boxes had encountered some bumps and bruises, the contents within each of my shipments remained safe from harm - I would attribute that to the solid packaging. This wardrobe is a good size and gives lots of storage for a small space. The instructions were easy to follow and it was easy to assemble, until the doors. They do have soft close which is a great addition. The hanging space is tight, no sweaters or bulky items would fit. The space is only a small amount larger than an adult hanger. Might work better for small kids clothing. The hanging space is enough for a dress or longer coat lengthwise. The hanging space does not allow for clothing to be see, only the piece in front, unless you sort through them. Shoes, purses, or folded clothing can fit in the shelving area. The armoire is solid wood which is great for the price. It is solid ,looks nice, and the assembly instructions were easy to understand. However the doors did not align properly and the center strip that covers the gap between the two middle doors was way out of alignment. We were able to adjust he doors and center piece enough to make it look ok but there are still small gaps between the doors towards the bottom of the armoire. The good: - Wood quality and appearance - Matches the descriptions - Beefy packaging ensured very few damages (I guess they read the other comments) The bad: - Difficult to assemble: this is not for inexperienced assemblers. The instructions are rudimentary and you must use all clues in the drawings to correctly build this. Took me 4 hours of focused work, and that was not including unpacking and staging. - Two parts (15 and 16) had their label markers inverted, which was actually a fairly big problem and cost me 20 minutes.
