Buying an unfinished linen cabinet is a great choice if you want high-quality solid wood construction at a fraction of the cost of pre-finished furniture. I am mostly happy with this armoire. We are using this for my son who doesn’t have great closet space. It has largely accomplished what we wanted. I took off one star for the quality (it’s not bad but the closet doors don’t sit at the same height and there was a minor chip - it is particle board with veneer). I also don’t like the positioning of the hanging rod. The closet might work for little kid clothes and hangers, but it does not work well for larger clothes. My son wears youth large clothes. Some of them drag on the floor of this armoire and we have to shove the clothes back when we shut the door so that things don’t get caught in it. The bar needs to sit up further and back a tad. This mirrored wardrobe wasn’t difficult to put together at all [(1) person less than (2) hours (taking their time)]. It fits perfectly where I intended and it holds a lot of my stuff. I absolutely love this product. The quality is better than I expected for the price! My husband put it together and gave me the following feedback: 1. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. 2. The materials were of good quality and all pieces were present. 3. A power drill isn't required but there are so many screws that it saves your hand from blisters if you use a power drill as your screwdriver. All of the holes are predrilled though. 4. Since the boxes were incredibly heavy and our bedroom is on the smaller side, we opted to take all materials out of the box in the living room to organize first. Then we put a few of the smaller pieces together before carrying them upstairs for assembly in the bedroom. 5. 90% of the assembly is a one person job but it was helpful to have another person present to assist with hanging the doors. 6. One of the knobs on the door came apart from its adhesive but was quickly remedied by using a hot glue gun. I like the product so much that I am thinking of purchasing another one.. Michele. I finally got around to assembling this wardrobe. It was easy and quick to assemble. All the screws labeled, separated, along with a very clear instruction booklet. Think this is a functional piece, looks good and is versatile. For extra storage it works well. The two shelves are adjustable and it does include the option of bolting the wardrobe to a wall. Nothing fancy but clean lines, simple. It is made of metal which is less apparent until you actually open it. It does sound like a metal cabinet.
