The simplicity of linear hand embroidery is celebrated in the subtle stitching that dots this solid landscape of crinkled percale fabric. The fog-washed hues of natural plant life along the shoreline of Northern California are translated into channels of complementary-colored threads hand-stitched into horizontal lines throughout. Organic cotton batting adds a plush, medium-weight warmth. To get the full crinkled effect, we recommend washing and drying before first use.

I have the diamond comforter for winter but it starts feeling a little bit too warm in May - so I got the Channel handstitched quilt for the summer to fall months and it is perfect. This Bedspread is absolutely gorgeous. I love the oversized feature. I love that it is light, if more cover is needed will use a blanket or quilt. It looks great on my antique bed.
