We were looking for something with more of a vertical footprint to make space in our bedroom and this was just right, size-wise. It looks great too, and it's nice to have real wood. Assembly took quite a bit of time, especially since there weren't predrilled holes for a lot of the screws, but it all came together. As others noted, it's good to be aware that the back panel is unfinished, so this dresser must be set up against a wall (which is necessary for safety anyway, with a secure fastener included). I wish the drawers had a slightly smoother or controlled glide, and plan to add some felt to quiet the closure. Overall, a solid buy and great for our space!. Anonymous. Whittier, CA. I purchased two of these beds. Before buying, I read several reviews mentioning that mattresses had fallen through, or that the bed had fallen apart. After assembling both frames, I can understand how that could potentially happen — at least with one of them. There was a noticeable difference in material quality between the two beds. One feels solid and sturdy, and the slats seem like they will hold up well. The other felt more fragile during assembly. The “wood” (not real wood) was splintering slightly while we were screwing the parts together, which makes me question the durability over time. Assembly took about 2.5 hours per bed with two people. They look great once assembled, and I really love how they turned out. However, the inconsistency between the two frames makes me think quality control may be an issue. Words cannot begin to describe how in love I am with this bedroom set. I was skeptical about getting all 5 pieces but they fit the room to a T. The color makes the entire room seem so much brighter. The handles are big enough to grasp and not having to worry that you can’t get a good grip on it. The white glove service men were spectacular. The dresser is nice. Delivery was earlier than expected. It took a few hours to put together. I completed it on my own. This is gorgeous. And HEAVY. Make sure you have someone around if you need to move it. And even then sliders would be a benefit. The entire set is to large to fit in the picture. It’s an amazing set. The drawers on the dresser feel a little stiff and the corner has a ding on it. But otherwise I am super pleased. I didn’t realize when I ordered this that I t came with white glove set up service. The folks who delivered it were great at communicating when they would arrive, polite and quick and thorough in their setup. And answered all my questions.
