I love the lights and they look great! Pictures of old and new. Note: I painted the bulb collar to coordinate with my other exterior lights. Just a couple of small issues: a) the lights came with 3 screws to attach to a post but I need to attach to a pier mount base (Castellanos, which I purchased at the same time) so they don't work. I am in the process of trying to find a way to secure them, and b) there is about 1/4" gap between the glass and the base so water gets in. Very tall and nice looking post. I was shocked by the exterior shell material, I expected it to be a bit thicker but instead it was thinner plastic. The inside post was heavy duty. Great, sturdy mailbox. Looks fantastic. We now have by far the nicest mailbox on the street. It is pretty heavy (about 25lbs I believe) so make sure your post can handle it. Not a fan of the wood block for mounting. It will eventually rot. Would have liked to see a pvc product or similar.
