Walnut Wood Bed Frame Black Legs

Sleek steel and sustainable bamboo come together in this platform bed to bring you the best of contemporary craftsmanship. A solid bamboo headboard highlights the wood’s natural grain, perfectly paired with a black metal frame for a modern, balanced look. Designed for both style and durability, bamboo offers an easy-to-maintain surface, while the sturdy steel base provides reliable support. Wide, closely spaced wooden slats create a stable foundation for any mattress without the need for a box spring, and non-slip tape helps reduce movement and noise. Thoughtfully packed with all the tools and instructions for quick assembly, this bed is built for effortless setup and lasting appeal.

This bed was phenomenally easy to assemble, and I thoroughly enjoyed the process. I really liked how this bed came with a ratcheted Allen key wrench and a regular Allen key, and I really appreciated that the hardware came in already organized for you in a cardboard blister, so you didn't have to dig around for it in a bag. Instructions were really straightforward and easy to follow, and they also linked a YouTube tutorial to make things easier in case if the graphics were not clear enough. The only major downside is that the under-bed clearance is less than 5", which can limit your storage space, but if you prefer your bed low to the ground, then this bed frame is perfect! If I had to nitpick, then I'd say that the wood parts of the bed have this very strong "new cabinet" smell, but I'm sure that will resolve itself over time. In conclusion, this bed has pretty great value to it because the build experience was very pleasant, the bed looks beautiful, and it's very budget friendly! Would definitely recommend, especially if you get it on sale :). Tim. CA. Wed Sep 23 2026

Perfect for for what we needed. Super easy to put together. Maybe 1 hour. I know there is a sticky to hold the mattress in place, but a small lip at the end would help to hold in place. We purchased a twin so the mattress is lighter weight. I would get again.. Colleen. Chicago, IL. Mon Sep 07 2026

The Ruby bed frame brings a single, well-chosen detail to the centre of the bedroom: a headboard handwoven in natural rattan, its organic texture and warmth setting the tone for the room around it. Each rattan panel carries its own subtle variation in tone and weave, the kind of character that only natural material handled by hand can offer. Beneath it, the frame is built from solid wood for steady, dependable support, with an integrated slat base that holds the mattress directly and removes the need for a box spring. The silhouette stays low, clean and modern, and the silent slat system keeps the whole frame quiet through the night. Assembly is straightforward, ready in about 30 to 45 minutes with no power tools and every component pre-labeled. The Ruby asks for very little and gives a warm, restful foundation in return.

For the price, the quality is REALLY good. I absolutely LOVE the look of this bed. The headboard is so beautiful. It was pretty straightforward and easy to assemble and I appreciated all the extra parts provided. I did have to call my husband in to help for one step to stabilize the headboard while I screwed things in, but if I were a bit stronger and not pregnant I probably could’ve done it solo.. Emma. Ive always had good results ordering from the George Oliver brand. Bed frame was everything I expected it to be. Fairly simple to assemble by myself too. Ive had bedframes in the past where you needed to screw the slats into the side of the frame which was annoying and made it impossible to survive multiple moves. Really appreciated the Velcro and dowel system with this frame. My only complaint would be I received nothing to cover the mounting holes. The holes on the top of the frame and side are left exposed. I dont really care at the end of the day, but makes it feel less finished. The slats felt a little thinner than I would have liked them to. Its fine for me and my partner of a healthy weight but if someone heavier were to slam onto the bed from a long day, Im not sure how well those would hold up over time. Definitely dont jump on the bed. Other fun activities have been tested and approved. Sturdy headboard... Overall, satisfied with the purchase. Sleeps comfortably with no squeaking, feels solid, lots of room underneath for storage.. Murph. Chicago. Mon Sep 07 2026

I love this bed. It shipped very fast, arrived in about 5 days. I was nervous because there weren’t any reviews but turned out great. All pieces were free of damage or cracks. I’m really pleased with the quality. It feels VERY solid. No creaks or noises anywhere. Everything fit together perfectly and the instructions were clear. My one and only con is with the panels, the silver bolts kinda stand out and the sticker that it comes with to cover them, doesn’t match the color of the wood- Brown sharpie should do the trick. Otherwise super happy.. Mishelle. Thu Apr 09 2026

The bed went together fairly easily, even with one person! For a few of the steps, I had it leaning on the wall with a blanket for extra protection, but the pieces went together smoothly with little extra effort. The most time consuming part was simply attaching the bed slats, which was quick with a drill. Some reviews mentioned that the walnut color had a slight reddish cast to it, which is true, but it worked well with my already existing furniture. Well worth the purchase!. Amanda. Millersville, PA. Let me preface with I’m giving this 5 stars from a realistic perspective. There are reviews/vids out there that over hype this bed. For 299.00 it’s a no brainer for a small bedroom. I’d purchase it again, however, I would not put this bed in my master bedroom. It’s small, the wood is thin and it looks budget friendly. It’s adequate in stability but don’t aggressively jump in bed or it will likely crack. Brown would have been my preference, but my current furniture paired better with black. The black looks way better in person and it could pass as a dark espresso color. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the product, price, and incredibly fast delivery. Zero complaints here!. Michael. Bentonville, AR. Wed Sep 02 2026

SCANDINAVIAN HARMONY! Statement, Scandi, and solid mango wood- this bed sounds like a dream! Classic lines and a simple silhouette let the stunning wood grains take centre stage, and rightly so! Crafted by skilled artisans, the bed’s Nordic style means it’s a perfect fit for every space. Check out the grooves carved on the large headboard - we love the dimensional texture they bring to the room.

A little too big for my space and wobbly after a hassle to assemble lots of compliments on these appearance though. Anonymous. Sun Sep 27 2026

The Sapa platform bed makes its case through restraint. With no headboard to draw the eye, what remains is pure structure: a low, clean frame that lets the room breathe around it. It is a design suited to the bedroom that has learned to do without excess. The horizontal profile sits quiet and grounded, leaving the wall behind it open and the floor space uncrowded. Beneath that simplicity, the frame is built entirely from solid wood and assembled using traditional Japanese mortise-and-tenon joinery, hand-crafted joints that interlock without screws or bolts to deliver silent, lasting stability. Reinforced to a 1000 lb capacity, it is far stronger than its spare appearance suggests. A silent slat system holds beneath without creak or shift, and the whole assembles in about 30 to 45 minutes without power tools. The Sapa platform bed asks for very little and gives a great deal in return: a calm, uncluttered foundation for rest.

The assembly was actually pretty easy! Looks great! Legs come with grease so keep that in mind. Im waiting for my new mattress to arrive, so Ive been using my bed frame to put stuff on for now . I would definitely recommend this though!. Luis. US. Sun Sep 13 2026
