I was ripped off! I spent $1,200.00 on a pair of by-pass closet doors advertised as solid wood. I hired a carpenter to install them and found out they were actually cheap hollow core doors filled with cardboard! (see photo) Moreover, the doors were not even wood veneer, but covered in plastic paper made to look like wood! I complained to Wayfair they offered to give me a $230.00 refund on a $1,200. 00 purchase. How they came up with that number I have no idea. I installed two of these doors in a recent bathroom remodel and am very happy with them. They look great and were fairly easy to build. One piece on one of the doors required light sanding to make it fit with into the pre-cut holes but otherwise no issues. Two notes: 1. There is a strong odor at unboxing. I recommend building these outside, if possible, and definitely leaving outside for a few days to off-gas before installing on an interior project. I left them on my balcony. 2.
