Pros Functionality True to Size It measured exactly as expected, though visually it feels quite large and substantial next to my couch. Easy to Smooth Out While most items left on top will leave a slight mark or indentation in the faux leather, the material is forgiving enough that you can easily rub your hand over it to make the marks disappear. Concerns Around Durability Because it is pleather, I have to be careful not to keep anything sharp or angular near it. My main worry is how it will hold up against my dog and kids over time. Just the other day, my 14-year-old son leaned on it awkwardly, and I was genuinely nervous that the hinges—which are located in the middle—might snap or break. I really want to give 5 stars for quality look and feel of fabric, legs, design and ease of assembly. Received bench which 1 side support and end major flaws - filled and covered up a miss-drilled hole in 1 end piece and a splice one side rail. Would never have purchased without a serous discount if at all. I have neither time or patience to undo partial assembly and rebox to return. Seem to be other comments after reading many more of them. Not a one off issue, buyer beware. Also has protective slides on the legs in white, on dark wood.
