I would give a 10 if I could. I have a bad back and so finding a chair that is comfortable for both short and long periods of time is crucial. This chair is amazing! It hugs just right at the bottom of the shoulder blades and but is designed with a slight flair so as you recline a bit it to adjusts to hold your back without you feeling stiff or in a position that isn’t real. We actually like that they provide the ability to have dinner and then if we choose continue at the table with conversation or even games for long periods of time thereafter. Theyre beautiful! Just as pictured- so east to assemble and sturdy! The legs are labelled , right and left, but its easy to miss and accidentally screw the legs to the wrong sides. The curved back is a little wide, so you should measure your table to ensure you can fit the number of chairs you need across. My table has an extendable leaf that is 19" but its still a bit of a squeeze to fit three people across because of the curved back. It is 22" from edge of one curve to the other.. Gabriella.
