I would give a 10 if I could. I have a bad back and so finding a chair that is comfortable for both short and long periods of time is crucial. This chair is amazing! It hugs just right at the bottom of the shoulder blades and but is designed with a slight flair so as you recline a bit it to adjusts to hold your back without you feeling stiff or in a position that isn’t real. We actually like that they provide the ability to have dinner and then if we choose continue at the table with conversation or even games for long periods of time thereafter. Very nice and heavy table. Good quality and easy to put together. I have six chairs for it and everyone fits comfortably while eating. The only problem I have is once I got it assembled, I dusted it with Pledge, wiped it really good to make sure it was dry, then put my table runner on it. The next morning, I noticed white marks from where my table runner sits. Hopefully I will be able to get those lines off and back to the original wood. Otherwise, its a good table.. Danielle. US. Beautiful HEAVY chairs. These are very heavy and sturdy. They are also easy to clean. It’s an easy wipe fabric. But still fabric.
