So when you reach that step, don't try it without a friend, otherwise you risk damaging the piece. Nordic-Style Dark Wood Office Desk with Black Curved Metal Legs Suitable for Modern Home Studies & Work Areas

Great desk. I needed something big and this works great. Exceptionally sturdy construction — like literally over 150 individual bolts — so it’s not even slightly wobbly or uneven AND scooching it around to adjust the placement is never a problem, even fully loaded, which is a honestly huge for cleaning. As others have noted the seam is very noticeable if you don’t have stuff on it. Not a problem for me since it’s largely covered, so if you plan throw a mousepad or monitor stand or something in the middle, I don’t see it being a problem. On close inspection, you can tell it’s not the most expensive desk in the world, but for actually using it day to day, I have no complaints. Assembly really sucks. I highly, highly recommend a drill (I think it’s actually over 200 bolts) and reading the instructions at least 10 times per page, because for some reason they decided to cut printing costs and condense the instructions as much as possible. Disassembly is also going to suck, so if you have an upcoming move consider how big it is and how much fun it is removing the bolts I’ve mentioned. I do have to admit that the instructions were incorrect and we had to take a few of the screws out and put them in a different part of the desk. This was very frustrating but the end result was worth it. A word of caution-if you have hard surface flooring, put a blanket or sheet down before laying the desktop on the floor.
