This item is 4 separate pieces. It was very easy to put together and arrived very quickly. I expected the drawers to be shallow given the depth of the piece so expect that. The shelf in the larger pieces is stationary but is adjustable in the smaller side pieces. I was worried the oak/oak would have a yellow undertone in it but it does not. This traditional looking sideboard with adjustable shelves makes a great storage unit for kitchens, living rooms and entryways. It is made of MDF with a wide countertop that is water and moisture resistant and features 4 legs and a center support leg that can hold up to 275 pounds. The two drawers feature metal glides for easy maneuverability, and the cabinets below have adjustable shelves on the inside for easy storage of dishes, tablecloths and utensils, and top space for frequently used items and decorative accessories.

I’m very happy with it. It took a bit of time, but I was slow and cautious and deliberate, and I would say it went together quite easily. There are a couple of little white scuff areas that I need to clean up. There is a gap of maybe a half inch between the two doors on the left. Ideally they would meet. It doesn’t bother me too badly because it still looks black. Hopefully the surface will hold up overtime. This side board is gorgeous in peron. I purchased two of them to serve as a long TV console with the TV mounted on the wall just above it. The color is rich. The shelves are spacious. I added a few wooden baskets inside to keep stuff neat. Note, the entire piece isnt wooden but the legs and front are. It took the installer about 2hrs to put both pieces together. The doors rub when opening and I couldn’t find a way to fix it. So there’s a slight discoloration where they rubbed. Some of the finish was bubbled up. Not really noticeable unless you push on it. This is one of the nicest pieces of furniture I have ordered from Wayfair! The quality is fantastic, each piece is such heavy duty and solid feeling. A few areas of improvements are the drawer glider/mounts are trash, one broke while trying to put the drawer in for the first time because it is so flimsy. Thankfully we had a random spare laying around the house that worked. Another flaw is the backing is slightly smaller than the opening so when you screw the backing to the piece it almost misses the lip and the screw goes right through the edge and splinters on the inside of the cabinets doors.
