This is an absolutely gorgeous piece—truly more like a piece of artwork than just a cabinet. The detail on the doors is even more beautiful in person photos really don’t do it justice. It feels very sturdy and well made, and there is a surprising amount of storage inside. Ours came preassembled, which was a huge plus. That said, it is quite large and heavy, so I’m very glad I selected in-room delivery. For scale, I’m using this in a 14x14 dining room, and the 72” length fits perfectly centered along one wall without overwhelming the space. It's a pretty piece and the quality is very good with beautiful wood grain. My only complaint is that it scratched when I put a sharp rough wooden box on it. My other Wayfair pieces are very durable (I have 8 other wooden Wayfair pieces) so this surprised me a bit. Bees Wax and furniture crayons have not totally repaired the scratch. Very pretty. Instructions were clear, but I also put together a lot of furniture. Easy to follow if you know what you’re doing. Took a couple hours, but the longest part was trying to get the doors completely even after they were installed. I see a lot of other people say that theirs are not even, but the hinges are designed to be movable up and down, in and out, etc.. I ordered this 47x16 Mid Century Modern Sideboard Buffet Cabinet for the alcove in my dining area of my downtown high-rise condo for added storage and appearance. I was pleasantly surprised with the high quality look and feel once it was assembled. It is a solid and heavy piece that should be durable for bar dining storage. I did choose to replace the included wood knobs with antiqued brass drawer knobs and have coordinating brass door pulls on order to replace the wood pulls. This hardware replacement really upgraded the look to an even more high end feel to coordinate with the other mid century modern wood pieces in the same area and only cost an extra 12. IMHO, This piece looks a bit smallershorter in person than in the pictures so definitely be aware of the dimensions of the cabinet before ordering and how tallbig of a space you are using it in. I ended up adding 2 in height with swivel levelerextender feet and will add wall decor above it to help make a bigger impact. The cabinet arrived well packed in a very heavy large box that really needs 2 people or a trolley to move. There was a corner of one of the doors that had a small bit of surface damage to the veneer that I was able to fix with a furniture and floor stain marker that I had on hand. There are many pieces that are all labeled and well organized. It took me several hours by myself to assemble. I highly recommend an electric screwdriver for the job especially when installing the back panels. The included directions are pretty clear as long as you pay very close attention to the pictures and direction of all the panels and groves and notches. For the price, the quality and appearance of this cabinet is outstanding and I highly recommend it as a great storage and nice looking accent piece especially for apartmentcondosmall space living.
