This is a solid, well-made bed. I was especially pleased at the quality of the wood. This is not MDF or fiberboard. This is a seven layer plywood with oak veneer. I encountered no problems whatsoever during assembly. The pieces fit perfectly together, and were flush and square. As with any piece of furniture you have to assemble, it is very important to take your time and not be in a hurry. I am very pleasantly surprised with just how good this bed is.. Jeffrey. Purchase went well delivery within a week. Very heavy item need to well muscular sized people to carry the box in and up the stairs. Open box contents was in good order however the and no explanation for anything instructions were all visual and no explanation for anything. Subsequently it took approximately four hours to assemble to assemble you have to look at the parts intensely for the little screw holes to make sure you’re putting them in the right spot I would not recommend this the actual drawers are made out of metal wire at the bottom of the bed and don’t lineup at all.
