I really like the concept of this mid-century piece however there are a lot of issues with putting it together and getting things to align. Very easy to put to together. It is a very sturdy bedframe for the price. The “espresso” color is fairly accurate in person vs what you see online in the pictures. The only reason we give this bedframe 4 stars is because one of the posts came damaged as seen in the second picture. Additionally, instructions were pretty straightforward. There was one moment where it isn’t straightforward, as it doesn’t mention there is not a pre drilled hole for a screw for the middle portion of the frame. The bed frame has been pretty sturdy since we put it together, and had no issues putting our premium king sized mattress on it. It would have been 5 stars but there was a chip on the headboard. I noticed putting the bed together. It's more trouble to return it and it's not too different in color so I'm keeping it. The walnut color of the bed works well with the other wood accents I have in the room and it was easy to put together. Instructions were not very clear and incorrectly labeled. We are pretty happy with the platform bed. Very protected in the box. The instructions were only pics, which was easy to understand.
