The Mikasa French Countryside flatware set is a quaint design, versatile enough to coordinate with multiple decorating styles. It has a highly polished finish which I plan to hand wash and dry most of the time, although Im sure it would hold up well in the dishwasher. The weight and balance is good, but I find it slightly more cumbersome to use than another set I have. In my pictures I show another older European sized set that is slightly larger, and a vintage set that I consider human sized, along with the Mikasa set in the center. I would prefer to buy American made these are made in Vietnam. Overall, I am happy with my purchase, and Wayfair has competitive prices and fast shipping.. Ritzby. USA. Mon Sep 14 2026

I already had a set of 4 of these, but I was missing a little spoon and we needed more flatware. The pieces have slightly changed, but lighter flatware is not a bad thing. The pricing was great, the packaging was careful, and shipping was fast.. Anonymous. Fri Oct 23 2026
