This is actually super cool! The people who left bad reviews didn’t read the description of what they were getting. When I was unboxing the pieces my guy said “This thing is legit! This is great! The ladder is sanded very smooth and soft, no additional sanding required. Ladder is difficult to assemble, as in awkward. You will need someone to hold things and fiddle with it with you. The rail was super easy, and the metal pieces are pretty substantial. My only complaint is that one of the screw heads sheared off, so now I don't have support there, but the hassle of trying to tap it out has prevented me from dealing with it unless I have to. I needed to take up some vertical space in an awkward corner, so this was perfect, rather than trying to find a really tall wall-leaning type display ladder. The wood tones are beautiful and varied, and tie in really nicely with the dark cherry, cognac, light oak, and dark walnut tones throughout our open concept downstairs.
