The first desk took us about 5 hours, and even knowing exactly what we were doing, the second still took about 4 hours. I would absolutely recommend having two people, plenty of space, and a whole lot of patience. That being said, the instruction manual was surprisingly clear and helpful. There are simply a LOT of pieces and steps involved. Once assembled, though Worth it. They look like much more expensive pieces of furniture and completely transformed our homeschool room. I especially love all of the drawers, cabinets, shelving, and built-in desktop outlets. If you’re willing to survive the assembly process, I highly recommend them. For the cam lock screws, follow the tip in the booklet to take the plastic part off first and push them into the slots before putting the screws in. Overall, I’m extremely happy with this computer desk! It arrived quickly and was fairly easy to assemble. You will definitely need two people to be able to install the top hutch part. It’s quite heavy. Not only should you have two people, but it should be similarly tall people who are fairly strong as you have to lift it up onto pegs. I decided to only put one of the door on the top because I want to place decorative items in the other spaces. My only complaint is that the stickers it comes with to cover up the screws are not of a enough thickness to cover up the darkness of the screw, which does make it look kind of cheap when you’re up close. I’m hoping it won’t be very noticeable once I get items on the desk. Overall, it’s a great piece of furniture if you’re looking for a larger computer desk and I would recommend it!. Cori.
