Our queenfull size murphy bed can be easily folded into the wall when not in use, freeing up more space for your home or office. This bed is made of high quality MDF and plywood. It has a weight capacity of more than 1,000 pounds. The metal structure is coated with waterproof and rustproof black powder coating, and the lifting mechanism has been tested for more than 500 times. It is absolutely a perfect addition to your home.  Reminder: our product includes two cartons/packages, which may arrive on different days. Solid wall, brick or concrete walls are required for installing our murphy bed. Please ensure that the wall thickness is sufficient for the provided screws. Secure the bed firmly to the wall before operating the murphy bed.

This Murphy Bed comes in several heavy boxes with a lot of pieces. So it's definitely my recommendation to hire a professional to put it together to save you time and to ensure the product is assembled properly with anchoring to the wall for security. I must say it came together beautifully and will fit our needs for additional modern style storage and sleep space when we have overnight guests. The material is somewhat sturdy manufactured wood which is only noticeable up close. The frame will definitely only fit a 10 inch mattress or less. We tried a 12 in and the main door will not close. As many have mentioned, it would have been great to have shelves inside the cabinet but if you're handy you can easily install some for more storage. I have been shopping around for a quality Murphy bed for quite some time and almost bought a $4000 model but I'm glad I was able to save once I found this one for a fraction of the cost. This murphy bed is working well in an extra bedroom. It looks nice and offers storage in the bottom drawer giving us a nice place to store the sheets and pillows for the bed when not in use. Unfortunately the build quality and design isn’t effective. The rails and tracks that allow the bed to rotate from a desk to a bed are too weak to hold the weight of the structure. Causing the rails to come apart. I reached out to Wayfair who quickly provided replacement parts, but those parts failed as well. Looks like a design flaw. Too bad because it looked like a cool bed.
