It is still a beautiful chrome mirror shine, however fingerprints are easily seen. The space for the toilet paper rolls is a little smaller and may not fit double rolls. The adhesive is strong and can hold spray cans and potty spray. I will recommend this in a bathroom without small dirty hands. You will be polishing it often. The package arrived damaged so consequently this beautiful chrome toilet paper holder was damaged. All of the hardware came to assemble which included the adhesive for the no drill option. The finish was absolutely gorgeous! I had ordered chrome out of the other finishes, the finish appeared to be mirror. I guess it’s their version of chrome. I’ve holder is heavy and I would be curious to know if the adhesive that came with it to mount will be able to hold up on the wall with toilet paper and anything that will be seated on the top table. Why install a surface-mounted toilet paper holder that completely sticks out from the wall when you can have one that sits recessed inside the wall? This classic toilet paper holder does the job and won't go out of style. Now is the perfect time to upgrade. Quick and simple installation using two screws that are provided and screw through two pre-drilled holes in the back. Plastic anchors are also provided just in case, but it's always best to screw directly into the wood if possible. Installs into the wall between the studs for a neat, recessed appearance.

This is exactly what I've been looking for to deter my cat from trying to destroy our toilet paper! It looks great and feels well constructed. One note - When I first purchased this in the color matte black, the stainless black finish was delivered. The Wayfair customer support were awesome and delivered a replacement really quickly, however... The replacement was also the stainless black finish. I ended up buying the "Black" finish, and that was, in fact, matte black.
