I did it myself but I used several jacks to level off and center everything. Also the provided anchors don't seem to be sufficient so I would add additional support in the other pre-drilled holes.. I ordered the 50in linear electric fireplace for my bedroom and I love it. This is the second electric fireplace I have gotten and the other one I got was by a different brand and while I really like it, I like this one even more for its very subtle controls. I had to really zoom in so you can see them. From standing height you cannot see the switch and you cannot see the blacked out controls on the face of the fireplace. We’re very satisfied with this electric fireplace. It was not difficult to hang on the wall. It kept our bedroom warmer overnight on low setting. It is easy to operate – very clear remote control. We like the fact that it has a lower setting such that we don’t overload our electric panel. While the flame doesn’t appear “real“ per se it is still life-like and attractive to look at.
