I was looking forward to receiving my Murphy bed, cabinet, desk combo. The item came in 5 large heavy boxes. When the Fed Ex driver arrived the one box was completely smashed and open so the parts proceeded to fall out in my driveway. Things got scratched, dinged up and one piece got broke in half. I called customer service about the issue. They were quick about offering to send me a new combo unit. The only thing is the hassle to return the other one. Now mind you they are providing labels and arranged for the pick up. So the box that was smashed is not able to be used to return any parts. So now I have to unpack the box when it arrives and repack it with the damaged parts. Kind of took my excitement away about receiving the item. Disappointed in the packaging of my combo unit. Unfortunately the build quality and design isn’t effective. The rails and tracks that allow the bed to rotate from a desk to a bed are too weak to hold the weight of the structure. Causing the rails to come apart. I reached out to Wayfair who quickly provided replacement parts, but those parts failed as well. Looks like a design flaw. Too bad because it looked like a cool bed.
