This dresser is exactly what I needed; it's just the right size and the design is very clean and fits right in with my turntable setup. The design is very clean and I love how the drawers are flush with the walls and the handles are very discreet. The delivery was very quick, and my package arrived safely after only 3 days from ordering. This was my first time ever buying and assembling a new piece of furniture, and I did it all solo, so putting everything together was definitely a challenge. Although it took much longer than it should have (having 2 people really helps if you’re considering building this on your own), but it was enjoyable. The materials used are somewhat questionable, but it seems to be holding up quite well so far. I didn’t have any alignment issues with the rails, but the cabinet door was a bit of an issue until I remembered the instructions show how to adjust it in the last page. I noticed the drawers weren’t moving smoothly at certain points, so I realized the screws that hold the rails on the dresser walls needed to be fully flush to avoid any sticking issues. After I tightened those screws, everything worked well. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase and I really enjoy walking in the room and seeing this new dresser.. Gabriel. Texas. Quality construction and well built. The drawers are actually drop down doors and there is only 3 on the shorter version that I purchased not 4 as stated in description. I’m actually liking the drop down doors better than drawers as it maximizing space inside a small compartment and the door hinges and soft close hardware are quality upgrades. Fully assembled was exactly that … open the box and hang the unit. Well packaged with plenty of protection from the rigors of shipping … and they got it out for delivery in very short order. Had it in hand 3 days after I ordered. Well mostly in hand … had to retrieve it from my neighbor as Fed-X failed to get it to my door. Overall pleased with the quality of the furniture.. David. I recently purchased the Donati 9-Drawer Dresser and wanted to share my experience for anyone considering it. First, be prepared—this is definitely a project if you’re assembling it on your own. I started putting it together around 7 PM, worked until about 2 AM, then picked it back up the next day around 1 PM and finished around 6 PM. It’s time-consuming and can feel a bit challenging at times, but I actually enjoyed the process and found it rewarding to see it come together. There were a few minor issues with some of the wood panels having small chips, but nothing too noticeable once everything was assembled. Overall, the dresser is very sturdy and feels well-made. The finished look is absolutely beautiful and makes the effort worth it. If you’re patient and don’t mind spending the time assembling it, I would definitely recommend it. Was tempted to give this 3 stars, but it’s probably closer to 3.5 so I’ll round up. Overall, I’m very happy with how this dresser looks and the size. It was pretty hard finding something that we liked but also had round corners to make it safe for our 14 month old. There is a lot I wish was different about this dresser though. For one, it took my husband about 4-5hrs to build because it had so many steps and parts (and he is normally good at putting these things together). Second, for how large each drawer looks on the outside, it’s actually much smaller in width and height so you loose a lot more storage than you think (see photos). Lastly, I was expecting soft close drawers because they’re so standard these days. It’s not a smooth close and is actually quite stiff the close at the very end for a full shut.
