I'm extremely happy with this rolling, solid-wood bedside table. It was very easy to put together, taking only about 15 minutes. The pieces are a nice weight, making the table sturdy once assembled...it's easy to move, yet hard to accidentally knock over. The height adjustment is excellent. It gets tall enough to use as a podium or standing desk, but lowers enough to fit comfortably next to a platform bed, modern couch, or lounge chair. The up/down mechanism is ergonomic, and the manual tilt bar locks securely into plenty of angle options. I also love the size...it easily fits my laptop, a notebook, and a food tray. Pretty good! Wobbles a tiny bit, which is to be expected for something on a swivel rather than legs holding it up. This little table is EXACTLY what I wanted! I have needlework patterns in PDF format, so I wanted a table to fit my laptop for ease of my work. With the lip around the edge, I won't have to worry about my laptop sliding over the edge should I bump it! I like these, but overtime the wood on the inside has worn out from cups. The glueadhesive also gives out a bit, so unless your arm rests are big for these, you might need to add more glue to keep them sticking to the base correctly. Other than that, they’re great!. Anonymous. Sun Aug 30 2026

I really was unsure of this when I ordered it. I hoped it would work but holding the weight of a slightly heavy laptop and doing so in a stable manner for long periods of time is potentially a big task. I was concerned about the bouncy potential and didn't want to have that be a problem. It works GREAT! Yes, there was a bouncy movement to it when you didn't touch anything but the keys, but I founnd the most comfortable position for me was with my elbows resting on chair arms and my pisiforms (outer palms near the wrist) just touching the keyboard on either side of the touchpad. When I lightly rested my hands there I could type without any appreciable bounce and what tiny bit I got actually aided typing quickly. The middle knuckle is adjustable for the weight of just about any laptop. I have an HP 17" and it doesn't seem to even know it's there as far as weight goes. I live on a boat and I have the arm mounted on a small table next to me next to my lazyboy recliner. No I don't think it would work very well long term with the chair in a reclined position but for a short time it would be much better than a computer on your belly or chest. When I put it together and tested it the first time the cords were an issue. Once I ran the cords through the cord holder I never even thought about them again. I liked it so much I got one for my wife and she loves it. To get up we just push it out awaqy from us and can get up with no interference from the computer. Once you get the position just right it stays at that angle perfectly and other than swinging it out and back I find I do no other adjustments. It took me a couple days of fooling with minor adjustments until I got it just right. When the boat rocks it doesn't move either, unless I want it to. I was able to put together this wall sconce farily easily. I did need to add a plug and cord to is as I wanted it to be a plug in by following a failry simple DIY tutorial online.
