Solid wall, brick or concrete walls are required for installing our murphy bed. Please ensure that the wall thickness is sufficient for the provided screws. It looks so great in my guest bedroom. I needed something that was compact since its a small room and not used often for guest, but mainly for me to craft in. All in all it took me about 4 hours to put together by myself. All the parts were there. With a few extra that had me second guessing if I put it to together correctly. Its pretty simple and the picture instructions do help. The storage drawer is nice to hold blankets and pillows. I bought a 6 memory foam mattress. Once folded up and the doors closed it looks like there is a few extra inches to maybe fit a bigger one Not entirely sure. Definitely a gamble to take if you decide to go bigger. Did have to modify the wall anchoring given the brick wall anchors that are provided. The front panel has more space between the shelving on one side (everything reads level, and the bottom of the front panel has even spacing). I did notice other review photos have the same problem. This unit was exactly what I needed for the space. I was worried that the wood color would be too yellow, but its not, its a neutral beige and doesnt clash with the flooring.
