Being made of thermoformed PVC means a lightweight and easy installation, high durability, and resistance to water, rot, warping, and insects. Ekena Millwork PVC ceiling medallions are perfect for the everyday dryer with their low maintenance, easy installation, and affordable prices.

This is my second purchase for this specific medallion- it is small but works in compact spaces like closets and entryways. I really like it because I use faux styrofoam ceiling tiles to cover ugly ceilings after scraping popcorn texture (and to avoid drywall repair and re-texturing). These are easily sprayed painted by the way. Plus… doesn’t every hard-working light fixture deserve a medallion Yes!. April. Creswell, OR. Mon Aug 24 2026

Very nice. Anonymous. Fri May 22 2026

This ceiling medallion added an element of historic design to my renovation. Note that the bluish areas in the photo are actually cut out, and when installed, your ceiling will show through in those spots. Center area around the opening is thicker than the edges. I changed out the light plate cover to a deeper profile. Applied easily with construction adhesive and temporarily held in place with tape till the adhesion dried. So lightweight, that you can alter the opening with an Xacto knife.. Keenkathy. Arizona. Mon Jun 22 2015

Acanthus 11-Inch Medallion

Very small and ornate, the Purotouch® R-12 decorative flower ceiling medallion can be utilized as elegant ceiling ornamentation or can be easily adapted for use with small lighting fixtures by merely drilling through its center. Pre-primed and ready for painting or staining.

I had my electrician use these in place of the matching gold canopies that came with my Wayfair Montreuil 5-light chandeliers. The medallions are very nice, and perfect size for a smaller room or pendant fixture. I used these right out of the box, with no paint. I feel they provide a lower contrast to my white ceiling and make my little ceiling feel less cluttered.. Kikie. Ukiah, CA. Thu May 04 2023

Create an attractive backdrop for a ceiling fan or fixture with this Textured Ceiling Medallion. With a raised border and textured white surface, this medallion offers understated style that goes well with any decor. The simple installation of this medallion is a great way to hide a hole if an opening in the ceiling is cut too large. It can also hide ceiling blemishes and cracks that may appear around ceiling fans and lighting fixtures. It is made of durable molded plastic.

It ended up working for us ok, but it was not as expected. The description said the sizes was a range up to 19”, but gave the orderer no place to choose a size so we were not sure exactly what would show up when it got here. What we got was a 15 3/4” medallion. It just barely fit, but we made it work after doing a bit of wall boarding.. Judith. Derry, NH. Mon Mar 09 2026
