Set up was fine . Please note that you can just plug into an electrical outlet . You do not need to “hard wire it” as the description says. It is easy. However, the unit has a defect! The fake copper lip that the water falls from is NOT LEVEL ! Therefore the waterfall will never be like the picture in a nice V fall. Ive been looking for a water fountain for quite some time. I wanted something that would provide conversation privacy from my neighbors, drown out some freeway noise, yet still sound tranquil. What I love about this fountain is the shape, size and overall modern style. Its a heavy solid piece, and it sounds wonderful with just the perfect amount of water flow. Wayfair Delivery was quick and amazing, and my contractor put it together in less than a hour. Everything is built-in, so once you get it centered and level, you just add water and plug it in. Simple, easy concept design! Its more textured than I expected, and unfortunately there are minor nicks all around the exterior and along the rim. Because I ordered the black color, its probably more noticeable. Just something to note if ordering in black. Overall, Im so happy with my new water fountain!! Its adding so much to my peace!!. Classically inspired Lion Fountain Wall Fountain is quick to set up and use. The fountain has a built in hanger in the back making it easy to hang. Power is required to operate the fountain so please make sure power is within reasonable distance. No assembly is required but the pump needs to be sumbersed in the basin of the fountain with the power cord following the channel created for it to go behind the fountain and the fountain to lay flat with the wall. Water will cascade from the lions mouth into the basin and recycled for continual use. Water evaporates over time so please remember to occassionally check the water level in the fountain. Allowing the pump to operate without enough water will result in the pump to stop working. The Hanging Lion Wall Fountain is quick and easy to set up for use and adds the tranquil sound of running water to your space.
