Oh boy. This fan is very nice and produces a lot of wind even on the lower settings. I'm impressed. It will cover a large room easily, or on the very low settings, a smaller room. I purchased the Vornado Portal Low Profile Window Fan for our nearly 200-year-old farmhouse, which does not have central air conditioning, and it has made a noticeable difference in keeping the house comfortable. This is the second Vornado table fan that I have purchased for myself. Vornado claims that you can keep your air-conditioning set higher as the fan does such a great job and it is true. The fan works incredibly well. I have even given them as gifts to my family members. The fan is reasonably quiet, and the medium size version is a great size for a desk or side table.
