This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area. I'm not sure who loves this patio sofa more, my cats or me. It arrived well packed in a very large box. It was fairly easy to put together as besides the back pillows there are only 4 pieces, the sides, back, seat. The only issue I had was that the screws are very long and one side one took a while to screw in as it was more difficult to turn. It is very comfortable and my tripod kitty can easily get on it to sleep. He loves it. It looks very nice and seems like the fabric is strong and will hold up for quite a while.
