This set of 2 self-watering hanging planters measures 13.8 inches, featuring stylish resin rattan woven appearance for elegant indoor and outdoor decoration. Equipped with deep inner pots, practical drainage plugs and stable three-chain metal hangers, they maintain proper soil moisture automatically and avoid root rot effectively. Premium durable resin material resists fading, cracking and outdoor weather damage well. Reasonable layered structure achieves convenient water storage and healthy plant growth. Sturdy triple chains ensure safe stable suspension on walls, balconies, ceilings and patios. Lightweight, easy to install and clean, these decorative hanging baskets perfectly suit flowers, vines and green plants, upgrading your space with tidy low-maintenance green scenery.

The self-watering feature prevents overwatering and underwatering as long as the drainage plug on the bottom of the planter is removed. This is because the water level will always drop to the top of the overflow drain. Your plant will then absorb the water as needed. If you're worried about underwatering and/or if it's hard to tell if the plant is dry, then we recommend watering frequently to avoid any chance of underwatering. That ensures there is always water available in the reservoir. Just make sure the drainage plug is removed so that the water does not overfill the reservoir, potentially causing watering-logging and root rot.

My only complaint is that I wish it came in a lighter shade of brown than the one they offer. I have had plants in it for about a week and they seem to be doing great! I love the water level indicator and the pots seem sturdy for plastic. I did add wicking rope to mine to move the water from the reservoir to the roots easier. I also added mosquito bits to the water reservoir just in case they try to lay eggs. I have lime colored sweet potato vine, purple coral bells, pansies and celosia intenz planted in mine for the fall.. Anonymous. Fri Oct 02 2026
