This enameled cast‑iron Dutch oven is designed for outdoor camping, campfire and stovetop cooking. It comes complete with a spring bail handle and a metal lid lifter hook. The lid doubles as a grilling skillet for searing steaks and frying food. Thanks to excellent heat retention and even heat distribution, it supports simmering, braising, baking and boiling. It works great over open campfire, wood stove and propane stove, ideal for backyard parties, camping trips and off‑grid outdoor meals.

I was so excited to use this. We love camping and cooking over the fire and I thought this would be great for us. Took a little bit for trial and error. I haven’t cooked in a cast-iron before. You need to realize this is heavy pot and it gets very hot. Be careful it was fun to cook in, does take a little bit longer for things to cook. It came preseasoned, which is wonderful. The lid could be used as a station for steak, chicken, fajitas. I cooked bread in the pot after we did a soup, which was great on our cold day like we’ve been having. I did brought it in the house after I took it off fire because it was getting dark outside. This is a great addition to anyone’s camping supplies.. Tammy. Midland, MI. Thu Oct 15 2026

An excellent choice for cooking, as they have a thick structure while being lightweight and withstand high temperatures. The nonstick ceramic coating over the cast aluminum, distributes heat evenly and quickly throughout the surface, saving energy and providing uniform cooking.

One serving per enamel pot saves the trouble of reaching across the table to scoop a dish. Generally used to bake single-serving macaroni and cheese, french onion soup, boeuf bourguignon, and cheese-baked potatoes. This cocotte can be cooked on gas, electric, ceramic, and induction cooktops, and is oven safe to up to 500°F. Not recommended for microwave ovens. Add water or oil to the pot and cook with low to medium heat. The extra-heavy lid helps to seal in the moisture and keeps the food flavorful. Wash and dry the enamel-coated cast iron cookware before first use. Allow the cookware to cool before washing. Hand wash with warm soapy water is recommended. Use wooden, silicone, or nylon utensils as metal can scratch the enamel. Use nylon pads or scrapers to remove the additional residue. Always dry the enamel cast iron cookware thoroughly before storing it in a cool, dry place.
