These are in the style of a Roman shade, which is a nice concept for covering the glass panel in French Doors. They are magnetic, so easy to position up or drop down. However, instead of some type of metal or sturdy resin material, the “rod” inserts at the back of the shade are cheap plastic tubes which do not fit tightly enough or stay together very well— when inserting to the back of the curtain, the sections come apart. There are several colors to choose from, and the material is lightweight, but blocks even the strong sunlight we have in the desert. This is a lovely blind. Appears to be well constructed and the fabriclining is exactly as it appears in ad. Installation was a snap. I only gave it four stars because I ordered it without the cord (which I paid more for) and with inside mounting, and it came with a cord adjustment and outside mounting brackets and no screws. the clip buckle adds 2/5 inch on each side (total 4/5 inch). Therefore, make sure your window width is at least 27 inch or larger for an INSIDE mount. For OUTSIDE mount, add 1-4 inches wider to your window opening width for better light blocking.
