Perfect mat for my kitchen. It’s thin but that’s what I wanted. The solid rubber backing keeps the mat firmly in place and anything that drips on it is easily cleaned up, which is great for where I placed it, in front of the sink. I selected this runner for the sole purpose of protecting my carpet from my dogs messes. It would better serve a long narrow hall but i don’t have that so I used it underneath my dog’s crate. We love this vinyl carpet protector for our stairs. It looks very nice, is non-slip and confirms easily to the stairs and stays in place with a minimal number of staples. Overall I am very happy with this rug. But be warned that the color is very different than pictured. In daylight, it is more of a graygreen and darker than photos.
