I received the Enzo 6 Cube Record stand pretty quickly, although the box was pretty well beat up in shipping. I took me about 2-1/2 hours to put together; it went together well, without any real issues. The end product looks good, is sturdy and should function well for storing my albums. I figure it will hold around 420 albums, which I am putting in vinyl sleeves. I have added LED strip lighting to each cubicle which turned out very well and should help with search efforts, when looking for an album to play. I would have given Five Stars for this cabinet but for a couple of minor issues. 1. The instructions are not as detailed as they could be and had me guessing in a couple of instances, as to exactly how certain parts should go. I have extensive experience in reading drawings and these were lacking in detail and had me guessing, in a couple of instances. One thing that the instructions don't tell you to do, is to make sure the steel tube base is square and plumb. Also, after putting the cabinet on the base, before installing the back, make sure the ends are plumb. I used a level and had to tweak the cabinet a bit to get it as plumb as I could on each end. One end is spot on and the other was out a little; how that can be is beyond me! Once the base is tightened to the cabinet and the back is put on, it is a pretty sturdy piece. 2. There were a couple of finish issues on two corners of the unit, one is on a back corner of the top and won't be seen. The other is on the front, bottom left corner, where the edge material has a wrinkle and creates a gap. I filled it with black super glue and it will not be readily noticeable, to most people. This Farmhouse TV stand compliments our living area perfectly. We have a fairly small 1 bedroom apartment and this TV stand fit perfectly in the space without being overwhelming. There are 3 drawers that offer a ton of storage space for us and the stand itself is very sturdy and holds our 55” tv well with enough room left for our router. The wood is of nice quality and not just a finished particle board which makes the price very reasonable for the quality of the furniture. The assembly took a little over an hour but was not difficult nor was following the instructions with all tools and screws included, you just have to assemble every piece including the drawers. After a decade of having records on the floor, it was time to do just that. This product advertises it can hold up to 350 records. As it’s designed and to-be-assembled, it cannot. The shelf area, with cool slidey bar, is great-the metal curved bars are a nice addition as they keep your records from weighing on each other. Clearly some knowledge, of how to properly store records, went into the design of this item….alas….. It’s the asymmetrical door side on the left that ruins the “up to 350” claim. If assembled as instructed, that portion of the cabinet cannot safely hold records at all. Why, you ask? Well, if you put it together as the directions state, and place a few records inside the box, they will dump over once you close the door. If you halfway fill that box with records they will still dump over, weighing heavily on the records at the back. Say you then try filling the entire box with records…well, you won’t be able to see the records at the back as the way the door opens and closes doesn’t allow enough room to do so. I felt I had two choices when faced with the limitations of this product when it came to actually storing all of my 325 ish records. -Disassemble and return it because it doesn’t actually hold all my records Or: -Don’t install the box part of the left side*. Just place the records inside that door just like the adjacent shelf therefore allowing one to store the advertised amount of records. *You may want to run to the hardware store and get some attachable magnet piece so the door doesn’t flop open (which can happen as that door no longer has the box attached whose weight keeps the door closed) Lastly, I’ll note the the height of the cabinet- seems quite low. I am 5’4” and have to bend over slightly to use the record player. I keep looking at it wanting it to be 2-3 inches higher at least….but not planning to return it.
