This really is a beautiful rug, it does say that it’s washable but the size I got is way too large so I will not be able to wash it in a standard machine. It does have more white in it than I expected so if you have young children or pets, you may wanna put it somewhere where it’s off-limits to them. I put mine in the guest room, which is not used on a frequent basis and the door is shut, so the animals cannot get in the color combination is extremely appealing. It’s a very nice rug and we’re super happy with it. We needed a rug to fit the “rustic chic” decor of our guest bedroom and this one is perfect - the beige colors are soft and the pattern is very inviting, just perfect for the room! It’s on a thinner side but soft enough to provide extra cushioning and the material is very pleasant to the touch.
